About the Speakers

Scott Ercole

VP, Technical Sales, CoolSys

Scott provides technical support and oversight to their national sales and operations teams.

He has over 15 years of industry experience and has spent most of his career as a refrigeration consulting engineer working very closely with installation teams and equipment manufacturers across the United States and in Canada.

Prior to joining CoolSys, Scott spent close to 10 years working for Hill Phoenix where he managed the engineering team for their aftermarket services group and had been involved in many CO2 refrigeration projects including one of North America’s first CO2 booster systems to utilize ejector technology with parallel compression.

He has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Indiana Institute of Technology and is a licensed Professional Engineer.

Bryan Beitler

President & CEO, NASRC
VP, Special Projects, CoolSys

Mr. Beitler’s career includes 44+ years of experience in refrigeration and HVAC design, sales, energy, and operations support for businesses focused on grocery retailers, cold storage, process refrigeration, and other mission-critical HVACR systems.

He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on refrigeration and HVAC from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA.

Mr. Beitler participates in industry organizations such as ASHRAE, IIAR, RETA, and FMI.

He is currently the President and CEO of the North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council (NASRC), a non-profit organization focused on accelerating the introduction of natural refrigerants into the marketplace.
