CoolSys: Considered a Cool Place to Work
We’re not shy about sharing our belief that CoolSys is a great employer. Times are tough and while many of us may be physically disconnected, we’re doing our best to stay more connected than ever with our growing number of employees from coast to coast. Here are some of the ways we strive to make our employees feel valued every day.
We listen to our employees
We recently surveyed our employees to learn how we can improve their experiences as CoolSys team members, to support our goal of providing them with rewarding work that allows them to develop their own careers. With an impressive 69% response rate, we were pleased with what our employees had to tell us about how they view their roles at CoolSys. The overwhelming majority of respondents felt respected by their supervisor, feel motivated to perform to the best of their ability, feel personal accomplishment from their daily work, and are proud to work for CoolSys. Employee engagement will continue to be a key performance indicator for how we measure the success of our business.
Serving those who served
As our way of showing a small token of appreciation for the brave ones who have served our country, we recently announced CoolSys Veterans’ Benefits. CoolSys employees who have served in the military are receiving an honorary veteran’s coin and are eligible for an extra paid day off. We salute the veterans who are members of our CoolSys family.

The CoolSys Value Coin Program is a cornerstone of our employee appreciation initiatives. Employees can earn performance bonuses, like cash and extra vacation days, by being recognized for excellence, integrity, commitment, a positive attitude in the workplace, and technical expertise. We think it’s worth recognizing Mike Reed, a Level 7 Service Technician in our San Fernando Valley branch in California, for having collected four value coins.
