Congratulating Leadership Promotions on our Operations Team
The CoolSys Operations Team is on the move with two promotions and a new key team member. Please join us in congratulating them as they step into their positions.
Fred Stockert has been promoted to President of CoolSys Commercial and Industrial (C&I), reporting to Chief Operating Officer Chris Schulken. In this role, Fred will oversee all C&I businesses. He will use his advanced knowledge and experience from the military and many leadership roles over 15 years with CoolSys to help the C&I group continue to grow and develop as CoolSys expands nationwide.
Steve Cook has been promoted to Senior VP of C&I, reporting to Fred Stockert. Steve will be responsible for leading the C&I Legacy Regions: Mountain West Service, South Install, South Service, West Install and West Service. Steve’s more than 33 years of experience in the CoolSys family has given him immense knowledge that will be an enormous asset for the Operations Team.
A New Team Member for a New Job
In addition to the promotions of Fred Stockert and Steve Cook, the Operations Team has a new member in a newly created position. Brett Wetzel has been named Troubleshooting and Technical Training Manager. He reports to Steve Cook and will be responsible for providing specialized, hands-on training for technicians and internal customer groups that addresses skill gaps in specific areas of the company.
Brett will also serve as a subject-matter expert for internal projects like training program development, diagnostic work, and customer support; mentor technical training coaches; and take the lead as a technical expert on complex, high-profile projects.
With a total of over 18 years of experience in the HVACR industry, Brett has worked with CoolSys for the past six years. He has a degree in HVACR from Penn Foster College and an AA in Electronic Engineering Technology from Lincoln Technical Institute. Throughout his career, Brett has established himself as an expert for CoolSys and the HVACR industry. In fact, he is currently educating a worldwide audience of subscribers through his Advanced Refrigeration Podcast.
