CoolSys Energy Solutions Wins Award for ‘Top Overall Service Provider’
CoolSys Energy Solutions is the proud recipient of the “Top Overall Service Provider” Award from Pepco as part of their annual awards ceremony for its Energy Savings for Business Program held in January in Baltimore, MD. Pepco, a public utility owned by Exelon Corporation, provides safe and reliable energy to more than 883,000 electric delivery customers in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
The award was won based on the completion of 59 LED installs in 2019, 12 of them specific to Pepco, as part of energy-efficient lighting upgrades at Giant Foods in the Pepco service area. Senior Project Manager John Barnett, Project Manager Jeremy Young, and Project Coordinator Wyatt Wilkins managed these installs during 2019. Warren Graham, Product Manager, also worked directly with Pepco on incentives. The Pepco Energy for Savings Program financially incentivizes businesses of all sizes that install new energy-efficient equipment. The program is designed to appeal to a variety of sectors including retail, commercial, hospital/lodging, restaurant and grocery businesses.
Pepco is one of 30 utility companies that we’ve worked with to complete more than 400 projects on the East Coast in the past 18 months. “Strengthening our partnerships with utility companies like Pepco is vital to providing comprehensive energy solutions and maximizing incentives for our clients,” says Natalie Powlas, CEM, Director of Energy Solutions, CoolSys Energy Solutions. “I’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate our team. Great job… thank you for all you do!”
