CoolSys Launches Online Technical Training
We’ve mared the beginning of a new year by celebrating our first graduating classes from CoolSys’s new and improved online service technician training program, powered by ECMC Education. During the last few months of 2020, 34 CoolSys service technicians worked diligently to complete level 3 or level 5 training. We are proud to say they have successfully completed their coursework! Learning From the Experts
More courses will be available this year so service technicians can build their knowledge as CoolSys continues to grow.
In the new curriculum, Technicians access online training at their own pace. Each course typically takes eight weeks to complete, with approximately five hours per week of coursework.
In addition to online study, trainees are partnered with experienced CoolSys technicians who serve as Technical Training Coaches in their area of expertise. Coaches provide support and evaluate the trainees’ progress in a hands-on environment.
“CoolSys has always been dedicated to training and investing in employees, so we’re excited to be taking our training initiatives to a new level through our partnership with ECMC Education,” says Beth Goldstein, chief human resources officer at CoolSys. “By launching this online program, we can now make high-quality, advanced training accessible to our new and current team members, no matter where they’re located.”
