CoolSys Participates in Grocery Outlet Annual Operator Meeting

CoolSys INC. was honored to attend Grocery Outlet’s Annual Operator Meeting February 24-25, 2019. The CoolSys team, consisting of Barb Russell, Steve Cruse, Robert Eidson, Steve Gayle and Brian Lindsay, had the opportunity to meet with Grocery Outlet’s independent operators (IOs) and collect valuable information for future improvements. We were also able to help operators with their issues in a real-time setting.
This was ground-breaking event, as never before have vendors been invited to Grocery Outlet’s IO meetings. To help facilitate IO training, the CoolSys team even had live online connections to the various stores to demonstrate how the refrigeration systems operate. It’s all part of Grocery Outlet’s plans to increase IO training and awareness of how refrigeration affects their business.

The event was such a success that there is talk about making it an annual occurrence and exploring additional “Refrigeration 101” type training for IOs in the future.
