Don’t Get Hooked By a “Phish”
Email is an important business tool, but it’s also a major target for cybercriminals. One of their tactics is “phishing” — sending emails that may look legitimate but include a link or embedded document that can infect your computer with a virus. Even worse, this virus can spread throughout the entire company. Can you spot a phish? Watch this short video to learn more.
If you get an email you think might be a phishing attack, don’t click on any links or open any attached documents. Instead, click the “Phish Alert Report” button in the upper right corner of your Outlook window (see graphic below) to quarantine it and send it to the IT team for analysis.
