Training is one of the most important items in a service technician’s toolbox. At CoolSys, we know our technicians are our greatest asset, so we’ve worked hard to provide extensive training for employees. Over time, though, we’ve seen an opportunity to drill down even further into specific customer and topic training.
As a result, we’ve created Ask.The.Pros@coolsys.com, an email forum where technicians can reach out with questions and read about the latest information from CoolSys.
Expanding Knowledge and Skills
Some of the content and topics you can expect to see on our Ask the Pros forum include:
- Housekeeping, clean machine rooms
- Cleaning condensers
- Wire connections and hooking up contactors
- Condenser and evaporation installation and height
- Understanding super heat
- Understanding subcooling
- EMS videos
- New refrigeration technology
- Proper PM and leak detection guides.
Creating a Corps of Expert Technicians
Ask.The.Pros@coolsys.com will be monitored by a team of CoolSys employees who are tops in their areas of expertise. Their role is to assist technicians in the field with issues they might encounter before they get to the critical phase. Our goals are to avoid having unhappy customers and frustrated technicians and to develop the best-educated technicians in the industry!
