Increase Your Safety IQ With “5 Minutes to Power”

Workplace safety is an individual responsibility for each of us. To keep that idea at the top of everyone’s mind, CoolSys will roll out three major safety initiatives in 2021. One of those initiatives is the “5 Minutes to Power” (5MTP) message, which is currently being piloted in our CoolSys Commercial and Industrial Mid-South region.
The 5MTP message is a two- to three-minute safety “commercial” that will help you recall safety procedures and then react accordingly if a safety issue arises during your work tasks. Each of these daily messages is tailored to our industry. 5MTP will roll out in phases, starting in January 2021. Our goal is to ensure that all field employees and leadership are receiving 5MTP messages by mid-2021.
Once this program is fully rolled out, every technician across the company will receive an email every weekday morning with a link to the message for that day, followed by two to three quiz questions to test your understanding of the content. Spanish subtitles are available with every video message. 5MTP will replace our current Tailgate Talks, with the ability to pull records, if needed, sent to both service and install employees.
