401(k) Plan Update
It’s never too early to start thinking about your retirement, whether it’s five months, five years or 25 years away. Enhancements to the CoolSys 401(k) plan for 2023 include:
- Company match: CoolSys will match 100% of the first 3% of your eligible contributions then 50% of the next 2%. You can earn the full company match by deferring 5% of your paycheck*.
- Vesting: The five-year waiting period for vesting on the company match was eliminated effective January 1. Vesting now begins immediately for plan members, regardless of how long they have been contributing.
- Eligibility: Also eliminated was the eligibility waiting period to enroll in the 401(k) plan. New employees will no longer be required to wait before signing up.
