Legacy, Agape and BAS to Become CoolSys Light Commercial

We are excited to announce that our light commercial operating brands — Legacy, Agape and BAS — will officially be changing their names to CoolSys Light Commercial Solutions, LLC, effective January 1, 2021. This transition is part of our long-standing plan to become “One CoolSys,” to better serve the needs of our customers throughout the country and achieve our goals for company growth. And, because Legacy, Agape and BAS will soon be on the same systems, the rebranding should be seamless to our customers without any disruption in service.
What Does This Mean for Legacy, Agape and BAS Employees?
With the rebrand, employees of Legacy, Agape and BAS will now all “officially” be one CoolSys business, operating under one name and brand: CoolSys Light Commercial Solutions. That means more chances for professional growth and expanded resources and training opportunities. In short, rebranding will offer more opportunities for you to advance your career further with CoolSys.
What About Customers and Suppliers?
In the coming weeks, we will notify Legacy, Agape and BAS customers, vendors and suppliers about our upcoming plans and send them all the necessary tax and legal documents to make the changeover as easy as possible.
What Happens with Our Other Operating Brands?
Eventually, all of our acquired businesses will be rebranded to CoolSys. However, at this time, due mainly to system’s challenges, Legacy, Agape and BAS are the only three being rebranded. In the meantime, we will continue to execute our brand-endorser strategy with all of our acquired brands (e.g., ABC, Arjae, BRR, CRM, Richmond, Ron’s, Eastern and Carolina Refrigeration) until we have the systems in place to ensure that rebranding can be executed with minimal disruption to the business.
