So Much To Be Thankful For
It’s hard to believe November is already here—and that means the holiday season is upon us once again! As I get older, time seems to be speeding up. Can 2020 actually be just around the corner? I feel like the time traveler in H.G. Wells’ book The Time Machine, watching the seasons flash by while I sit at my desk.
November brings to mind two things I want to share in this month’s edition of Coffey’s Corner. First, I want to say a sincere and heartfelt thank you to all our CoolSys employees and their family members who are veterans of military service. This veteran understands your sacrifice and is thankful that America’s youth is standing guard on the walls of freedom so the rest of us can live in relative safety in a land unmatched by just about any other place in the world.
God bless our troops—past and present—for putting themselves in harm’s way to protect our way of life! I hope you’ll take a moment to watch our veterans tribute video, which recognizes the 47 veterans in the CoolSys family who submitted photos for this year’s project.
The second thing on my mind this month is Thanksgiving—a truly all-American holiday, if there ever was one, and a time to give thanks for our many blessings. I am thankful for the hard work and efforts of all 2,400 CoolSys employees who do such a fantastic job of representing our brand to our customers across the U.S.
Whether you’re building or installing systems, running service, staying on-call, working in our 70 offices doing dispatching, billing, purchasing, sales and administrative support—whatever you do, I want you to know how much I, personally, value you. I am also thankful for this exciting time in the history of CoolSys, as we move toward becoming “One CoolSys,” united under one name, wherever we operate across the United States. The coming year is going to be awesome! I’m sure of it because I know what kind of people I’m working with. Without you, there would be no CoolSys, and I am blessed and thankful to be CEO of such a great company! Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving with your families!
