Take “5 Minutes” to Represent Your Region

Following the launch of our 5 Minutes to Power (5MTP) initiative on February 1, CoolSys regions around the country are stepping up their participation — and it is paying off in improved safety statistics! Our company-wide goal is 85% completion. In March, we saw increased participation by every region.
A big round of applause to our front-runners as of March 31: Richmond, leading the company with 88% participation, and BRR with 85% participation. Great job!
Six other regions came in just below the goal. They are Ron’s (83%), West Service (82%), South Install (82%), West Install (81%), RSI (81%) and Eastern (80%). We also want to recognize ABC (72%), Mountain West Service (76%), BAS (75%), Agape (75%), Legacy (73%) and South Service (72%).
There’s still room for improvement in every region. Who’s ready to accept the challenge?
Safety in the Spotlight
5MTP is all about starting each day on the right foot — focusing on safety. Whether you work in an office or in the field, our goal is to get everyone at CoolSys to start thinking about safety, talking about safety and “doing” safety on the job every day.
The 5MTP videos are quick, two- to three-minute daily safety commercials. The topics are geared toward our industry but are also great reminders about safety in our everyday lives. A special segment called “Power Moves” is a highlight of the program that dials in to the importance of ergonomics and body positioning. This is crucial when trying to reduce soft tissue injuries. So if you haven’t checked out 5MTP — or if you’re not participating daily — now is the time to get going to support your region and to keep safety top-of-mind in your work and personal life!
