CoolSys is in the midst of exciting times! Our vision of One CoolSys and our expanding family of companies enables us to provide best-in-class services and solutions to customers all across the country. As the company grows, we rely on your feedback to help us remain focused on what’s important to you. Employee input has been instrumental in strategic investments CooSys has made in the last few years, including improving our benefits programs and increasing the 401k match, among others.
You Spoke, We Listened!
In 2020, before our world was turned upside down by a global pandemic, 70% of you responded to our Employee Engagement Survey. We heard you, and — despite the challenging times — we took action on the two most significant opportunities you identified:
- Improve the company’s commitment to safety. Safety is a top priority at CoolSys. Through the end of 2021, CoolSys will invest over $2 million in ensuring you are safe at work and return home each day to your loved ones without injury. This investment includes a team of regional safety managers based in the field — where they can have the most impact — and tools and technology aimed at raising awareness and accountability, like 5 Minutes to Power (5MTP).
- More clearly communicate the link between employees and the company’s vision and strategy. We’ve increased the quality and quantity of communication, ensuring you’re informed of the company’s strategy for the future. We regularly and transparently talk about acquisition growth, rebranding, technology and other key topics through CoolTimes, special edition videos and town hall meetings. We hope the information is helpful and useful to you.
Next Up: The 2021 Survey
Again this year, we’re looking for your feedback! The 2021 Employee Engagement Survey will be slightly different from last year’s — shorter and focused on the items we’ve learned matter most. On May 3, you will receive an email invitation to participate in the CoolSys Pulse Engagement Survey, which uses technology powered by our partner, Qualtrics. The survey will be available through May 14. It will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete on any computer or mobile device. Your responses will be completely confidential and will be reported only in general with other employees’ responses.
At CoolSys, Everyone Matters, and your honest feedback is very important to us. Every voice counts, so we hope every employee will participate. The entire CoolSys executive team is committed to listening to your feedback, sharing the survey results with you and acting upon what we learn. We may not be able to immediately make all the changes we’d like to , but we promise to develop a plan of action, share it with you and keep you updated all along the way.
