Social media is not just for selfies, memes and “my-vacation-is-better-than-yours” posts. These days, most businesses — large and small — rely on social media to connect with potential customers, stay in touch with employees and current customers and introduce new programs and services. CoolSys is active on several social media platforms, and you can help us grow our presence by participating in our channels.
A Spotlight on LinkedIn
Did you know that LinkedIn is the most popular of our social media channels? CoolSys has more than 8,000 LinkedIn followers, and that number is growing every day. In fact, we’re even integrating the platform into our media, sales and recruiting strategy to promote our overall branding and increase our ability to recruit new employees and clients effectively. However, our company’s success on the platform depends on how our employees use it.
Getting started: If you don’t already have a LinkedIn profile, please visit http://linkedin.com/ and click “Join Now” to get started. Once you’ve created your account — or even if you already have one — there are simple adjustments you can make to immediately help grow the CoolSys brand. Check out Getting Started on Linked In for tips and tricks to optimize your LinkedIn profiles and increase success on both an individual and company-wide level.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to link to the correct company name. There are many similarly named companies out there. When writing/editing your current job description, make sure you select “CoolSys – Refrigeration and HVAC Systems” as the company name. The header of the CoolSys LinkedIn page looks like this:
