Time to Get a Jump on Flu Season

With the winter flu season just around the corner, now is the time to get your seasonal flu vaccine. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone six months and older get a flu vaccine (with rare exceptions).
At CoolSys leadership we encourage you to get a flu shot, especially since flu symptoms can mimic COVID-19.
All CoolSys medical plans cover the flu shot at no charge to you. If you’re an Anthem member, you can get your flu shot at your doctor or CVS, RiteAid, Walmart, Kroger, Ralphs, or any other major pharmacy chain. Please call to confirm that the vaccine is available then present your Anthem medical card at the pharmacy. Kaiser covers the flu shot for Kaiser members at any Kaiser facility.
