Welcome Ed Dunlap as Our New CFO!
We are pleased to announce the addition of our newest member to the CoolSys accounting and finance team, Ed Dunlap as Chief Finance Officer (CFO). As CFO, Ed will lead CoolSys’ accounting and finance and work with the executive leadership team to set overall business strategy.
“Joining the CoolSys team is a great honor for me,” comments Ed. “I look forward to working with you all during this exciting time of growth and expansion,” he adds.
Ed assumes CFO responsibilities from Andy Mandell, who will be retiring at the end of September after serving the company for three-and-a-half years.
Ed brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in finance and large-scale operations to his role as CFO, having worked with a variety of Fortune 100 and private equity companies at all stages of their growth cycles. Most recently, Ed was chief financial officer for Trojan Battery Company. While at Trojan, Ed developed the company’s strategic roadmap and long-term pricing strategy, which had a significant positive impact on revenue and profit growth. He also was instrumental in positioning the company for private-equity sale. Ed also previously held leadership roles with GAP Inc., RJR Nabisco, PepsiCo, and B.F. Goodrich.
Adam and other members of executive leadership are excited to have Ed join CoolSys. “Ed is a welcome addition to our team!” exclaims Adam. “His has the know-how and hands-on experience we need to propel CoolSys to the next level.”
Originally from the Midwest, Ed attended Reed College in Portland, OR, graduating with a degree in Economics and attended business school at the University of Chicago. When he’s not working, you can find Ed enjoying the great outdoors — hiking, trail biking, skiing, and bodyboarding. Please extend a warm welcome to Ed. He’ll be based out of the Brea office and can be reached at edunlap@coolsys.com.
