Veterans’ Benefits
For the CoolSys family, Veterans Day is much more than just words on a calendar. It is a truly special day for us — a time to honor the men and women who have put their lives on the line in defense of our country. To express our gratitude for your service, we offer two special benefits for every CoolSys employee who has been honorably discharged from any branch of the military.
First, all veterans receive an extra day (eight hours) off work. We hope you’ll take your free day on or near Veterans Day — November 11 — but we know your personal and/or work schedule might make this difficult. So, we’re extending the offer for anytime between October 1 and November 30. (Be sure to take your day off by November 30, since the offer does not extend beyond that day.) As long as we have your veteran status on file, this time off will be noted on your paycheck stub on or around October 1 as “Veterans Day.” For more information check out this CoolTimes article.
In addition, you’ll receive a commemorative Veteran’s Coin, a one-of-a-kind keepsake created specifically for our CoolSys veterans. We believe you’ll be proud to show this full-color coin to friends and family, display it in your home and pass it on to the next generation as a legacy of your service to our great nation. We will be shipping these soon, so make sure we have your most current home address on file.
